Smarter AIOps & Alert Management
Alert fatigue is a real challenge for modern IT teams. In Fabrix.ai platform 8.2, we’ve introduced several enhancements to give your team more context and control when managing alerts.
Enhanced Alert Context: Alert State Manager (ASM) based log alerting now includes repeat count and flapping count directly in the payload, providing your team with immediate context on alert frequency and stability.
Policy Precedence: Topology and Correlation Group policies are now applied strictly according to the precedence defined in the UI, ensuring your most critical rules take priority.
Seamless ITSM Integration: ITSM tickets are now clickable, enabling users to access them seamlessly directly from the Team Widget. Support has also been added for clickable ITSM links within the “Others” team category and for Read-Only user groups.
Upgraded Solution Packs & Platform Features
We’ve significantly upgraded how our platform handles data, packs, and formatting to make your day-to-day operations smoother.
Advanced Solution Pack Artifacts: Fabrix.ai Solution Packs now support Alert Rules and Notification Channels as deployable artifacts. We have further added backup and restore support for FSM Models in Packs.
JSON Formatting Upgrades: The code block widget now automatically displays formatted JSON when JSON content is detected within a string, instead of rendering it with messy line breaks. Additionally, Solution packs now support deploying JSON-based formatting templates.
Automated Housekeeping: A default 7-day retention is now configured for the Jobs Folder in the Fabrix.ai platform Object, keeping your environment clean.
Cleaner System Bundles: We’ve cleaned up the default system bundle installed on fresh setups by moving specific dashboards to their respective packs.
An Expanding Ecosystem for Hyperconnectivity
To truly power an Agentic Enterprise, you need Hyperconnectivity, to realize seamless data ingestion from every corner of your tech stack. Fabrix.ai platform 8.2 introduces several new data/tool integration Bots and connector plugins.
To address scenarios where customers and partners utilize home-grown or unsupported systems not covered by our standard Bot library, we have developed the Secure Dynamic Bots Framework. This framework allows for just-in-time bot creation through configurable Mako execution, enabling flexible API integrations.
ScienceLogic Extension: ScienceLogic is a popular infrastructure observability tool. This extension collects inventory, performance, and alert data from ScienceLogic.
Dynatrace Bots: Dynatrace is a leading Application Performance Monitoring (APM). New bots allow you to extract Entity ID data from Dynatrace.
Azure Bots: New bots collect inventory, performance metrics, and usage data from Azure Insights.
Cisco ThousandEyes, a leading Network/Internet circuits monitoring tool from Cisco. This new bot fetches metrics from multiple ThousandEyes Test IDs in parallel, enhancing performance over the previous get-tests-data bot.
Nexthink Extension: An emerging Digital Experience (DEX) monitoring tool. This extension gathers inventory information from Nexthink.
Ansible v2 Upgrades: The Ansible v2 extension has been improved to support OAuth 2.0 in addition to basic authentication.
